For these reasons, exchanging to a timeshare resort is a great option when you are vacationing with children or when friends can join you.
One popular strategy for Members is using an Interval exchange for a “combination” style of vacation where you redeem Marriott Bonvoy™ points for a hotel stay in a city, and then place an exchange request for a nearby resort stay. For example, you could use your Marriott Bonvoy Points for a hotel-stay in London, and then venture to the countryside to spend a week at a timeshare resort in England’s Lake District. Or you could stay at a Marriott hotel in Barcelona or Madrid, and then travel to Malaga, Spain to spend a week in a timeshare resort on Spain’s Southern Coast. There are many options using this type of combination vacation.

Getaways, available through Interval, are discounted vacation weeks offered for rental without having to relinquish your Club Points.
